Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's construction is notably lighter than Galaxy Tab A8, but it's a bit thicker and was released many years before.
