Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than Galaxy Tab A8, having a score of 74.5 against 62.6. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11 version. Although Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lot older than Galaxy Tab A8, it's body is extremely lighter and just a little thinner.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a much higher pixels number per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab A8. Both have 8 processing cores and a 3 GB RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A8 has a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy Tab A8 features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 7040mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab A8. Both have a 8 mega pixels camera in the back.
