Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 is way better than Acer Predator 8, having a overall score of 70 against 57.7. Both devices we are comparing here include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version, so it gives you some nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 construction is newer than Acer Predator 8's, although it is heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Acer Predator 8 features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active 2, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Acer Predator 8 also has a better amount of pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a little better hardware performance than Acer Predator 8, because it has 4 more 1600 megahertz cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Acer Predator 8 has a slightly bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 captures much better photographs and videos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a much more MP camera in the back.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 and the Acer Predator 8 count with really similar battery durations, although the Acer Predator 8 has just 4420mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 is way more expensive than Acer Predator 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
