Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a score of 70, which is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s score of 59.7. Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), it must be told that it's also notably older, a little thicker and heavier. Both tablets we are comparing work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system).
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has lesser cpu cores , they both have a 3 GB RAM memory. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) and Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 both feature incredibly similar displays, both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a better number of pixels per inch in the display and a display of the same size.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, otherwise you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up a couple features and specifications.
