Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 is better than Huawei MediaPad M1, with a global score of 70 against 61.5. These tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has 9.0 Pie version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, giving you a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Galaxy Tab Active 2's construction is extremely newer, but thicker and heavier than Huawei MediaPad M1.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a bit faster CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 4 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. They have a screen with the same size, the same quantity of pixels per inch of screen and the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB and 16 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab Active 2 shoots way better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 4800mAh battery size instead of 4450mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go some features and specs.
