Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a global score of 70, which is a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3's 65.9 general score. These devices work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is newer than LG G Pad 8.3, it is thicker and somewhat heavier.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with just a bit better processing power than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has more RAM and a larger number of cores. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a higher amount of pixels per screen inch, a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a quite larger display.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a very superior storage for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The LG G Pad 8.3 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
The LG G Pad 8.3 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has a lower (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a way lower 5 megapixels resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, else you can save some money and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go some specs and features.
