Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a global score of 70, which is way better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a way newer and much lighter device than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, although it is somewhat thicker. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, providing you some nice extra features and enhanced performance.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a little worse pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a bigger screen. Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a back camera with a much better resolution and better 30 fps video frame rate.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 costs more than Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
