Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s 65 general score. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1. Galaxy Tab Active 2's construction is way newer and much lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s, although it's also a bit thicker.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a little bit inferior quantity of pixels per display inch, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a larger display.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 2 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a lot better 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 57% more battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
