Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's 66.5 general score. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a much heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, but they are 0.39inches thick. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has a just a little worse number of pixels per inch in the screen, a little smaller display and a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB. Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a 4450mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a camera with a much better resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. If you want to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
