Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is better than Galaxy Tab Active 2, having a 78.5 score against 70. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 body is extremely thinner than the Galaxy Tab Active 2, but it's noticeably heavier and was released 4 years before. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab Active 2 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also counts with a graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a way larger screen, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a greater screen pixel density.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a way bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has an external SD slot that supports 192 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Active 2, and although they both have a same resolution back camera and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has higher video frame rate.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity against 4450mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an easy decision.
