Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a global score of 70, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi MiPad's 64.4 global score. Even though Galaxy Tab Active 2 is way newer than the Xiaomi MiPad, it's thicker and somewhat heavier. Xiaomi MiPad has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher pixel amount per display inch and a way higher resolution of 2048 x 1536.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi MiPad, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 256 GB. Xiaomi MiPad has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has 1 GB lesser RAM and a lower number of cores.
The Xiaomi MiPad's camera is very similar to Galaxy Tab Active 2's camera, both of them have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a camera with an 8 MP. The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 51% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi MiPad, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi MiPad. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, else you can save some money and get the Xiaomi MiPad, resigning a couple specs and features.
