Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than the iPad Air (2020), with a score of 79 against 71.7. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 and the iPad Air (2020) were released only 1 months apart, Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3's construction is noticeably thicker but just a little bit lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with Android 10 OS, while iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x OS.
IPad Air (2020) features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a quite worse display pixel density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1640 x 2360 and a really bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad Air (2020), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
IPad Air (2020) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
