Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is just a bit better than Google Nexus 9, having a 79 score against 74.5. These tablets use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has newer 10 version and Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0, so it provides some additional features. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is noticeably thicker than Google Nexus 9, it's just a little bit lighter and also a lot newer.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Nexus 9, because although it has a 32-bits processor against 64-bits, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and more processing cores. The Google Nexus 9 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a slightly better 2048 x 1536 resolution, a just a little higher screen pixels density and a little larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because it has more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 takes much better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 9, because it has a back camera with way more megapixels and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Google Nexus 9 has superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 3, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Google Nexus 9, resigning a couple specifications.
