Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a general score of 79, which is way better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an older 10 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 body is noticeably newer than the Huawei MediaPad M1's, but it's heavier and thicker.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a little more vivid display than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has more pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1 TB.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a more powerful processor than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 3 GB more RAM and 4 more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a little better battery life than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 5050mAh battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
