Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a general score of 79, which is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 global score. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's a lot lighter and also noticeably newer.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a really superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a way higher pixels count per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 shoots way better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a way better battery life than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 6800mAh battery size against 5050mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
