Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), getting a 79 score against 65. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 body is noticeably newer and way lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s, but it is just a little bit thicker. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a more recent 10 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has more internal storage and a SD extension slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a way better (4K) video quality and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 39% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
