The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, having a overall score of 79 against 68.7. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a incredibly newer device than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but it is a lot heavier and incredibly thicker. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much more mega-pixels back camera and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 5050mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
