The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a lot better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, having a 79 score against 63.5. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the newer 10 version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and better performance. Although it's the best tablet we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 design is much thicker and extremely heavier than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px, a quite larger display and a greater display pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 captures way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much better (4K) video definition and a much higher resolution camera. Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has 48 GB more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 5050mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
