Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a score of 79, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)'s 76.7 general score. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has 10 version while Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has Android 11. Galaxy Tab Active 3's body is newer and just a little lighter, but also much thicker than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019).
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also counts with more pixels per display inch. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features slightly more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a much worse (Full HD) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 22 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active 3, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), letting go some specs and features.
