Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, having a 79 score against 62.8. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 design is incredibly newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's, although it's way heavier and incredibly thicker. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active 3 has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a lot better screen pixels density and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a greater camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera with a way higher 13 MP resolution. Galaxy Tab Active 3 features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory.
