Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a score of 79, which is way better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s 65.7 score. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 construction is newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s, although it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a better display density and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 3, although it has a back facing camera with a much lower resolution and a much worse (Full HD) video definition. Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s battery lifetime is very similar to Galaxy Tab Active 3's battery performance, although the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has just 5000mAh battery capacity.
