Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a general score of 79, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3's general score of 75.2. Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is noticeably thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, it's just a bit lighter and noticeably newer. These tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has an older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a quite lower 1200 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better screen density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB and more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S3, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a larger number of cores. Galaxy Tab S3 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Active 3. Both of them have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a back-facing camera with a 13 mega pixels resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab S3. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
