The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a lot better than the Sony Tablet S, with a general score of 79 against 57.5. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a newer 10 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab Active 3's construction is notably newer, a little bit thinner and lighter than Sony Tablet S.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a much better performing processing unit than Sony Tablet S, because it has more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a much better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a lot greater pixel density.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Tablet S, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a much better camera than Sony Tablet S, because it has a back camera with a much better 13 megapixels resolution and a lot higher video resolution.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 and Sony Tablet S feature similar battery performance, although the Sony Tablet S has a 1% smaller battery size.
