Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active is much better than the HP ProPad 600, having a 67 score against 58.2. Even though the Galaxy Tab Active and HP ProPad 600 were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy Tab Active is incredibly lighter and a bit thinner. The Galaxy Tab Active comes with Android 4.4 OS, and HP ProPad 600 has Windows 8.1 OS.
HP ProPad 600 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the HP ProPad 600 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. HP ProPad 600 has a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a bit higher display density, a bigger screen and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
The HP ProPad 600 has much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The HP ProPad 600's camera is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active one, although the HP ProPad 600 also has a camera in the back with a way better 8 megapixels resolution.
HP ProPad 600 features a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has an 88 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HP ProPad 600. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy HP ProPad 600, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
