Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active is much better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, having a 67 score against 60.4. Galaxy Tab Active's construction is just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active has newer 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a screen that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab Active one, both of them have a screen with the same size, the same amount of pixels per display inch and exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution. Galaxy Tab Active has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has 16 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 64 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a CPU that is very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a smaller amount of RAM and a worse graphics co-processor working at 400 megahertz, they both have 4 CPU cores. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 takes slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (HD) video definition, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, giving up some specs and features.
