The Galaxy Tab Active is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Go, with a general score of 67 against 66.5. The Galaxy Tab Active is a much older and somewhat thicker tablet device than Microsoft Surface Go, but Samsung was able to build it lighter anyway. Galaxy Tab Active works with Android 4.4 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 operating system.

The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a much better screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a just a little worse pixel count in each inch of screen, a way lower 1280 x 800px resolution and a much smaller display. Microsoft Surface Go has a very superior storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.

Microsoft Surface Go has just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has less cpu cores and doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface Go. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a way more MP back facing camera and a way better 1920x1080 video resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface Go. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Go, letting go some features and specifications.
