The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an overall score of 82.4, which is way better than the Galaxy Tab Active's general score of 67. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has Windows 10 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab Active comes with Android 4.4 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a notably newer and thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab Active, but it is a lot heavier.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit and 2 less processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with 14,5 GB more RAM. Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px, a much lower display density and a much smaller screen.
