Galaxy Tab Active has a general score of 67, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Ativ Tab's score of 66.7. The Galaxy Tab Active construction is notably newer and way lighter than the Samsung Ativ Tab's, although it's also a little bit thicker. Galaxy Tab Active works with Android 4.4 operating system, and Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a more vivid display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a much smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen pixels density. Samsung Ativ Tab features much more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a lower number of cores and a worse graphics co-processor working at 400 MHz, it also counts with more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Active takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a back facing camera with way less mega pixels and a worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has an 84 percent bigger battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active is not only the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
