Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's design is extremely newer, somewhat thinner and lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 7. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with Android 4.4 OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has Windows 8 OS.
Galaxy Tab Active counts with a better looking screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, a lot lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a much smaller display. Galaxy Tab Active features a way better hardware performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has a weaker 450 megahertz graphics processor and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
