Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, having a 67 score against 65.9. The Galaxy Tab Active body is newer and way lighter, but also somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has Android 4.2 version, providing a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
Galaxy Tab Active features a better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Galaxy Tab Active also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has 16 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a larger number of cores (although slower), an additional graphics processing unit and more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a camera that's very similar to Galaxy Tab Active's camera, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a lower (HD) video quality and a camera with less MP.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 53 percent more battery size.
