Galaxy Tab Active has a global score of 67, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's score of 66.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2. Galaxy Tab Active's design is newer and a little thinner, but way heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a bit bigger display, a better 1280 x 800px resolution and a quite better quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab Active, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount and a 450 MHz graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features as much storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, both of them have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB and exactly the same internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a camera with a better 3.1 MP resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, giving up some specifications.
