Galaxy Tab Active has an overall score of 67, which is better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's 57.5 general score. The Galaxy Tab Active is a newer and a little thinner tablet than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, although it is also a lot heavier. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version while Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a bit sharper display than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a better 1280 x 800 resolution, a bit bigger display and a bit higher screen density. Galaxy Tab Active has a little better processing power than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an extra GPU, a higher number of 1200 megahertz cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab Active has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 16 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a better camera than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera with more megapixels.
Galaxy Tab Active has just a little bit longer battery life than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an 11% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
