Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, having a 67 score against 63.5. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Galaxy Tab Active's design is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has more cpu cores , a higher amount of RAM memory and a faster 450 megahertz graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a screen that is very similar to the screen in Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a little greater number of pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a slightly better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active also has an external memory slot that supports up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 15% bigger battery size.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, although it has a back-facing camera with a lower resolution and a lower (HD) video quality.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
