Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a general score of 70.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab Active's 67 general score. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab Active has Android 4.4, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Although the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is notably heavier than the Galaxy Tab Active, it's somewhat thinner and also newer.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a lot smaller screen, a much lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a just a bit lower pixel amount in each display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM memory.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) takes greater photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a camera in the back with a way better 8 MP resolution and a much higher (Full HD) video quality. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 200 GB.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 7300mAh battery size.
