The Galaxy Tab Active is better than Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a 67 score against 60.4. The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a quite lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Galaxy Tab Active also counts with a quite larger display. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have 1,5 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also has an additional graphics co-processor.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a much higher resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little bit better memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has an 11% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
