The Galaxy Tab Active is much better than Sony Tablet S, having a general score of 67 against 57.5. The Galaxy Tab Active construction is notably newer, notably lighter and just a bit thinner than Sony Tablet S. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active has the newer 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, counting with some nice extra features.

Galaxy Tab Active counts with a more vivid display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Galaxy Tab Active also counts with a little better screen density. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little better hardware performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has an extra graphics processor, a larger amount of RAM memory and 2 more CPU cores.

The Sony Tablet S counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Tablet S features just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

The Sony Tablet S counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Sony Tablet S also has a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also a bargain compared to others, making this tablet an obvious call.
