The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a 77.5 score against 58.6. Despite being the best we are comparing, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is an a bit thicker and notably heavier device than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both devices in this review use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so they should give you all the same OS features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a bit more vivid display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a bigger display, a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a little more pixels per inch of display. Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a bit more storage to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB against 1000 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
