Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a general score of 77.5, which is better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 global score. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version, offering some nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a extremely newer tablet than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it is incredibly thicker and incredibly heavier.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's processor is very similar to the Galaxy Tab Active Pro one, although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a much better screen density.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro takes way better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a camera with a lot better 13 mega-pixels resolution and a lot higher video quality. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a much greater memory to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a lot more expensive than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
