Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has an overall score of 77.5, which is a bit better than the iPad 9.7-inch (2018)'s 77 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro construction is newer than the iPad 9.7-inch (2018)'s, but it's way heavier and way thicker. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and 2 GB lesser RAM.
IPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a just a bit greater number of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a quite bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad 9.7-inch (2018), because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has an 8827mAh battery size against 7600mAh. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features just a bit better camera than iPad 9.7-inch (2018), because it has a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a camera with much more megapixels.
Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs more money than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018). If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
