Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a general score of 77.5, which is much better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 general score. Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 comes with Windows 8 operating system. Galaxy Tab Active Pro's body is much newer, but heavier and thicker than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a way worse resolution of 768 x 1366 and a much lower pixel density, they both have a screen with the same size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a much higher (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both of them have exactly the same internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a very superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
