Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a global score of 77.5, which is a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s general score of 60.7. Even though Galaxy Tab Active Pro is heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's just a bit thinner and also extremely newer. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a larger amount of RAM and 6 more CPU cores. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, a really smaller screen and a little bit worse screen density.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much better (4K) video resolution and a camera with much more megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 7600mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
