Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, getting a global score of 77.5 against 67.8. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is incredibly newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, it's noticeably thicker and heavier.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a display that's very similar to Galaxy Tab Active Pro's screen, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a much lower display pixels density, they both have a screen with the same size.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a way better 13 megapixels resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a 12% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go some features and specifications.
