Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has an overall score of 77.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's general score of 65.6. Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is much newer than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, it is incredibly heavier and thicker. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2, counting with some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a really smaller display, a lot lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a just a bit inferior number of pixels per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 90% larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a back camera with much more MP and a way higher (4K) video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
