The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a global score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5's 74.3 general score. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active Pro has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version. Even though Galaxy Tab Active Pro is extremely newer than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, it's incredibly heavier and way thicker.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has a higher pixel density, a little bigger display and a better 1600 x 2560 resolution.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has a 4% bigger battery size.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a much higher video quality and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, resigning some specifications.
