Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a score of 64.9 against 62.5. Although it's the best tablet device we are comparing, Galaxy Tab E 8.0's body is extremely older, somewhat heavier and a little thicker than Alcatel JOY TAB 2. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple additional features.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0. Both of them have a higher amount of pixels per display inch, the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 and a screen of the same size.
Galaxy Tab E 8.0 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Alcatel JOY TAB 2. Both have the same video frame rate, the same (HD) video definition and the same resolution back camera. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB and more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features longer battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
