Comparison review

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, getting a 67.9 score against 64.9. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's design is thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it is just a little bit heavier and was released about a year before.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a way better quantity of pixels per display inch, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a quite larger display. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a way worse resolution camera and a way worse 1280x720 (HD) video quality, they both have a F2.2 diafragm aperture.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
