Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, with a 68.5 score against 64.9. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 construction is thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, but it's a little heavier and was released 2 years before. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a much better 1600 x 2560px resolution, a much better pixels density and a little bigger display. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 takes much better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a back camera with a much worse 5 MP resolution, they both have the same camera aperture.
