Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is just a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, getting a 64.9 score against 61.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer tablet than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it's heavier and thicker. Both devices we are comparing work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a way better display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a better number of pixels per inch of screen and a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has an external memory slot that admits 64 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 takes much clearer photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both have the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera and the same 1280x720 video definition.
