Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a score of 75.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab E 8.0's score of 64.9. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop, providing a couple additional features. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 design is notably newer, lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab E 8.0.

Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a bit larger screen, a much higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a way greater pixel number per inch of display. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a better CPU than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and they are faster).

Huawei MediaPad M5 8 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB and more internal memory.
