The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's 64.9 global score. Despite of the fact the Microsoft Surface 3 is older and noticeably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, it's body is still a little bit thinner. The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a much bigger screen, a much better 1920 x 1280 resolution and a just a bit better count of pixels per screen inch.

Microsoft Surface 3 features a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has more RAM memory.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a way worse (HD) video quality and a lot less MP back-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3.
